Frys.com Open Odds
Technically, the 2016 PGA Tour season gets underway this week with the Frys.com Open. Here is a look at the odds for the first event of the new season.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Rory McIlroy is favored to win this week, as he has odds of +425 to win, while Justin Rose has odds of +850 to win and Brooks Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama each have a money line of +1450 to win. The Frys.com Open takes place on Thursday-Sunday from the Silverado Country Club in Napa, CA.
McIlroy is third in the world rankings. He had three runs last season with a total of nine top-10 finishes. He has finished in the top 20 in four of his last five events.
Rose is seventh in the world rankings. He had one win last season with eight top-10 finishes. He has placed 16th or better in seven of his last eight events.
Koepka is 12th in the world rankings. He had one win and seven top-10s last season. He is coming off a second-place finish in his last event. He was eighth in this event last year.
Matsuyama was 15th in this event last year. He was winless last year and had eight top-10 finishes. He has finished in the top 25 in four straight events. He finished third in last year’s event.
