RBC Heritage Free Picks
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (ATSConsultants) – The 2015 RBC Heritage begins play this morning and we have our picks as to who will win this weekend’s PGA event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Jordan Spieth is the favorite to win this weekend, as he has 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Zach Johnson (16/1) and Patrick Reed (18/1). This tournament is held today-Sunday from Harbour Town Golf Links.
Jim Furyk comes into this event with 20/1 odds to win. He is the 2010 winner of this tournament and is currently 10th in the world rankings. Jim had a fast start to the year, but has cooled a little bit since. We just think he needs to return to a course he’s familiar with, and this is it. Aside from the 2010 win, he was also seventh last year.
Charley Hoffman is coming off a great weekend at the Masters and we think that will lead to good thinks this weekend. He has 33/1 odds to win and he has finished 11th or better in three straight events. He also played in this event last year, taking 38th. While that’s nothing special, given his strong play as of late, we think he will be right in the mix this weekend.
Mark Wilson is a long shot at 200/1 to win, but he may be worth a small wager. He has finished in the top 25 in two of his last three PGA events and he finished ninth in this event back in 2013. Wilson seems to be in a good flow right now and he’s coming to a tournament that he has competed in before. Look out for a potential upset win for Wilson.
