KAPALUA, Hawaii (TheSpread) – The PGA Tour gets back into full swing this week with the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Bubba Watson is favored to win this event, as he has 13/2 odds. The other short odds to win are Jason Day (15/2) and Matt Kuchar (9/1). This event takes place Jan. 9-12 from Kapalua Resort – The Plantation Course.

Watson is fourth in the world rankings, which is tops of any golfer in the field. He had three wins in 2014. Day is eighth in the world rankings right now. He has four top 10s in his last five events and had one win in 2014. Kuchar is 11th in the world rankings and he had one win in 2014.

Zach Johnson is the defending champion of this tournament. It was his first win in this event as he shot a 19-under 273. He comes into this year’s event with 14/1 odds to repeat as champion. Stuart Appleby and Geoff Ogilvy each repeated as champion. Ogilvy has 40/1 odds to win this year while Appleby is not in the field.
