FORT WORTH, TX (TheSpread) – Some timely putting from Chris Kirk allowed him to escape Colonial with the 2015 Crowne Plaza Invitational title.
Kirk had a solid final-round 66 on Sunday, which put him at -12 for the tournament. He hit some key putts down the stretch to put him one shot better than Jason Bohn, Jordan Spieth and Brandt Snedeker, who each finished at -11 for the tournament.
According to oddsmakers, Kirk came into this tournament with 28/1 odds to win, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $2,800.
