Zurich Classic of New Orleans Odds
The Jason Day and Rickie Fowler pairing is currently favored to win this weekend’s PGA Zurich Classic.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Day/Fowler team is currently 11/2 to win the Zurich Classic this weekend. The pairing with the next-best odds is the Justin Rose/Henrik Stenson team at 11/2, followed by the Dominic Bozzelli/J.T. Poston team at 15/2.
This year the PGA decided to introduce a different format for the Zurich Classic. Forty-six players inside the Top 100 World Golf Rankings will compete in the event this weekend.
Day is the No. 3-ranked player in the world, with Fowler currently listed as the ninth-best player. Stenson, meanwhile, is the No. 6-ranked player in the world, while his partner, Rose, is the eighth-best player according to the latest world rankings.
Continuing with the odds, Brian Harman/Johnson Wagner are 8/1 to win, followed by Ryan Palmer and Jordan Spieth at 12/1. The Ryan Blaum and Wesley Bryan tandem is 15/1 to win the Zurich Classic this weekend, followed by Hideki Matsuyama and Hideto Tanihara, who are 16/1. The Cauley/Thomas pairing are 18/1, followed by the Branden Grace/Louis Oosthuizen and the Kirk/Todd teams, who are 20/1, respectively.
The 2017 Zurich Classic of New Orleans will run this weekend from April 27 through April 30. The event will take place at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana. The first and second-round TV coverage will come courtesy of the Golf Channel, while the third and fourth-round coverage presented by CBS on Saturday and Sunday.
