U.S. Open Free Picks
The 2016 U.S. Open Championship gets underway on Thursday morning. Here is a look at some golfer we like to win this major.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jason Day is the favorite with 13/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (15/2), Jordan Spieth (10/1) and Dustin Johnson (14/1). The U.S. Open takes place Thursday-Sunday from Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
Bet on the FedEx St. Jude Classic
Jason Day is hard to pass up right now. He has three wins in 2016 already and he has placed in the top 10 in the last four majors. He also has finished in the top 10 in three straight U.S. Open Championships. Look for him to make a run at his first U.S. Open title this week.
Jordan Spieth is the defending U.S. Open champion and he has placed in the top 5 in five straight majors, including two wins. Spieth has two wins this year already and his putting ability should come in handy this week, as the greens are very challenging.
Justin Rose has 28/1 odds to win this week. The last time the U.S. Open was at Oakmont, Rose finished in the top 10. He has since won a U.S. Open title in 2014 and he has placed in the top 10 in three of the last four majors. We think Rose can make another run at a title this weekend.
