The final major championship of the year takes place this week. Here is a look at the odds to win the PGA Championship.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Dustin Johnson is the favorite this week, as he has 15/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (17/2), Jason Day (9/1) and Jordan Spieth (12/1). The PGA Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey.

Johnson has had a great 2016 season, working his way up to No. 2 in the world. He has finished in the top 10 of all three majors this year, including a win in the U.S. Open. He also has finished in the top 10 in six of the last seven majors, including a seventh-place finish in last year’s PGA Championship.
McIlroy is a two-time PGA Championship winner and currently fourth in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 10 in two of the three majors this year and has placed in the top 10 in eight of the last 12 majors.
Day is No. 1 in the world rankings and the defending PGA Championship winner. He has finished in the top 10 in five of the last six majors, including two this year. He has three wins to his credit in 2016.
Spieth is No. 3 in the world rankings but not quite having the same year as the other three. While he does have two wins in 2016, he has finished outside the top 30 in the last two majors. He also has just two top-10 finished in his last seven events.
