It’s time for the first major championship of the 2018 golf season, with The Masters teeing off this week. He is a look at the odds to win the green jacket this year.

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Rory McIlroy is the favorite to win this weekend, as he has 9/1 odds. Other short odds to prevail are Jordan Spieth (10/1), Justin Thomas (10/1), Dustin Johnson (11/1) and Tiger Woods (11/1). The Masters Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

The Masters is the only major McIlroy has yet to win. He has placed in the top 10 the last four years, including seventh last year. Overall, he is a four-time major champion. In 2018, McIlroy has one win with three top-10 finishes over eight events.

Spieth was the 2015 winner of The Masters and he also finished second in 2014 and 2016 while placing 11th in 2017. Spieth has won three majors in his career. He is fourth in the world rankings right now, but is winless in 2018 and has three top-10 finishes in nine tournaments.

Thomas is playing in his third Masters. He finished 22nd last year and 39th in 2016. Thomas has one major championship, last year’s PGA Championship. He is second in the world rankings right now and closing in on No. 1. He has one win this year with four top-10 finishes out of seven events.

Dustin Johnson has never won The Masters, but he finished fourth in 2016 and sixth in 2015. He was unable to play last year due to injury. DJ has one major in his career, the 2016 U.S. Open. He is No. 1 in the world rankings and has one win this year with four top-10 finishes in six tournaments.

Woods is playing in his first Masters since 2015, where he placed 17th. Woods has won the tournament four times in his career and has a total of 13 top-10 finishes at the event. Woods has looked good since returning from his latest back injury. He has finished in the top 5 of his last two tournaments, including runner-up in the Valspar Championship. He is seeking his first win since 2013.
