The WGC-HSBC Champions is the next big golf tournament set to take place. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.

According to the latest oddsmakers, Dustin Johnson is favored to win this week, as he has 8/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Hideki Matsuyama (10/1) while Jason Day, Jon Rahm and Marc Leishman each have 16/1 odds. The WGC-HSBC Champions takes place Thursday-Sunday from Sheshan International in Shanghai, China.

Bet on the WGC-HSBC Champions

Johnson won this event in 2013. He is currently No. 1 in the world rankings and has four wins in the 2017 season. Johnson has finished in the top 20 in six of his last seven events, including one win.

Matsuyama won this event last year. He is currently fourth in the world rankings and is coming off a fifth-place finish at the CIMB Classic two weeks ago. He has finished in the top 5 in three of his last seven events.

Day is eighth in the world rankings and is coming off an 11th-place finish last week. He has finished 27th or better in eight straight tournaments, including three top-10 finishes.

Rahm is fifth in the world rankings. He is coming off a poor showing in a European Tour stop last week. Rahm has two wins this year with 13 top-10 finishes out of 24 starts.

Leishman is 12th in the world rankings right now. He is coming off a runner-up finish last week and has placed third or better in three of his last four tournaments. Leishman has two wins in 2017.
