Dustin Johnson is really playing the best golf of his career right now. He has finished in the top 10 in six straight tournaments, including two wins. He also has finished in the top 10 in all three majors this year, including a win at the U.S. Open. Johnson has also been in the top 15 in 12 of his last 13 outings. Look for that to continue this week as he pushes for another major.
Branden Grace has 40/1 odds to win this week’s major. He comes into this tournament having made the cut in seven straight events, including four top-10 finishes and one victory. He has a total of two wins in 2016. In last year’s PGA Championship, Grace finished third and he placed fifth at the U.S. Open this year. This seems like his week to really put his name on the map and win a major.
Is this the major that Lee Westwood finally wins? He is listed with 80/1 odds to do so this week and we like those numbers for him. He has made the cut in nine straight majors, giving himself a chance to win on the weekend. He finished second at The Masters this year and has finished in the top 10 at this event two times. He has finished in the top 15 in five of his last seven tournaments. Look for him to make a strong push again this week.
