Masters Predictions

The highly anticipated tradition of The Masters is set to begin play on Thursday morning. Here are some golfers we like to contend for the victory this weekend.

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Jordan Spieth is now the favorite to win, as he has 10/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (11/1) Justin Thomas (11/1), Dustin Johnson (12/1) and Tiger Woods (12/1). The Masters Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Bet on Golf Odds for Thursday, April 5, 2018

60001 Rory McIlroy 11/1

The Masters is the only major McIlroy has yet to win. He has high hopes this week after ending his year-long winning drought at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. McIlroy has finished in the top 10 of this tournament the last four years and held the lead going into the final round before. I think McIlroy should be one of the top contenders this weekend.

60005 Tiger Woods 12/1

I didn’t want to buy into the Tiger Woods hype too soon, but I genuinely believe he can win this weekend. During the last three years, Woods has been very candid and honest about the expectations he has had for himself in golf tournaments. He hasn’t talked about winning. This week, that is all he has talked about. He believes he should win and he has me believing him. Woods has been very competitive in his last two tournaments and he comes to Augusta as a four-time winner with 13 top-10 finishes and 11 top-5 finishes.

60019 Matt Kuchar 50/1

If you are looking for a bigger payout this weekend I think Matt Kuchar could be your guy. Kuch has finished in the top 10 in his last two tournaments and has three top-10 finishes in 2018. He also has a history of playing well at Augusta. Over his last six appearances, he has four top-10 finishes and three top-5 finishes. He has placed in the top 30 in seven of his last eight Masters. Kuchar knows how to get around this course and I think it is time for him to claim a major championship.
