Hero World Challenge Predictions
The final golf event of 2018 will get start on Thursday morning as some of the best in the world tee off in the Hero World Challenge. Here’s some golfers we like to contend for the win.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Justin Rose is the favorite to win, as he has 7/1 odds to prevail. Other short odds to win are Rickie Fowler (15/2), Dustin Johnson (8/1), Justin Thomas (9/1) and Tiger Woods (9/1). The Hero World Challenge takes place Thursday-Sunday from Albany Golf Club in Albany, The Bahamas.
Bet on the Hero World Challenge
Justin Rose 7/1
Rose has had a great 2018 and I see him finishing it on a positive note. Out of 21 tournaments played, he has finished in the top 10 in 14 of them, including two victories. He has finished eighth or better in six straight tournaments. Rose placed fifth in this tournament last year and I would expect him to be right in the mix this weekend as well.
Rickie Fowler 15/2
Fowler is winless in 2018 and this is his last chance to grab a win in the calendar. He has had at least one win in each of the previous three years. One of his two wins in 2017 was this very event. Fowler has been pretty consistent as of late, placing 17th or better in six straight events, including three top-10 finishes. Fowler is probably to hungriest golfer in the small field this weekend, as he needs some positive momentum going into 2019.
Tony Finau 16/1
Finau is a nice dark horse option for this weekend’s tournament. He has had a really solid 2018 despite not picking up a victory. Finau was competitive in the majors this year and played well at the Ryder Cup. He has a total of 11 top-10 finishes in 2018 while only missing three cuts. He has placed in the top 20 in seven of his last eight events, finishing in the top 10 in five of them.
