Crowne Plaza Invite Odds
FORT WORTH, TX (TheSpread) – The next stop on the PGA Tour is Texas, as golfers will compete in the Crowne Plaza Invitational this week. Here’s a look at the odds to win this event.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Jordan Spieth is the clear favorite this week, as he has 5/1 odds while Zach Johnson comes in with 14/1 odds and Jimmy Walker has 18/1 odds. The Wells Fargo Championship will be held May 21-24 from Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, TX.
Spieth is a Texas native and comes into this tournament second in the world rankings. Spieth is coming off a missed cut last week, which snapped a streak of nine straight top-20 finishes, including two wins. He finished 14th in this tournament a year ago.
Zach Johnson is a two-time winner of this tournament, last winning in 2012. He is currently 25th in the world rankings and he has finished in the top 20 in five of his last six events.
Walker is 12th in the world rankings coming into this event, but he has struggled as of late, failing to crack the top 25 in three straight tournaments. Walker does have two wins on the year and he finished 10th at this event last year.
