AT&T Byron Nelson Odds
The next event up for the 2018 PGA Tour is the AT&T Byron Nelson. Here’s a look at the odds to win this year’s tournament.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Jordan Spieth is favored this week, as he has 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Matt Kuchar (12/1), Sergio Garcia (14/1) and Hideki Matsuyama (18/1). AT&T Byron Nelson takes place Thursday-Sunday from Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.
Spieth is the top-ranked golfer in this week’s field. He is third in the latest rankings and coming off a 41st-place finish in The Players Championship. He has four top-10 finishes this year, but is still seeking his first win of 2018.
Kuchar is 22nd in the world rankings after finishing 17th at The Players this past weekend. He has three top-10 finishes this year and has yet to miss a cut in 12 tournaments.
Garcia is a two-time winner of this tournament, last claiming the title in 2016. Garcia has been shaky in his last three events, missing the cut in two and then taking 70th at The Players. Garcia still is 14th in the world rankings and has one win with four top-10 finishes this year.
Matsuyama is now ninth in the world rankings. He also has had back-to-back poor efforts, as he missed the cut last weekend was 76th two weeks ago. Matsuyama has played in eight tournaments this year and has just one top-10 finish.
