Pebble Beach Pro-Am Predictions
The 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tees off on Thursday morning out on the coast of California. Here’s three golfers we like to contend for the win this weekend.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Dustin Johnson is favored to win this tournament, as he is listed with 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Jason Day (9/1), Jordan Spieth (18/1), Tommy Fleetwood (20/1) and Tony Finau (20/1). The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am takes place Thursday-Sunday from Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California.

Dustin Johnson 5/1
DJ is the top player in the field, sitting third in the rankings right now. He is coming off a win in Europe in his last event and has finished 16th or better in all three tournaments he has taken part in this year. Johnson was a runner-up in this tournament a year ago and also finished second in 2014. He also is a two-time winner of this event, last claiming the title in 2010. This is clearly a course that suits Johnson very well and I expect another strong showing this weekend.
Phil Mickelson 25/1
Mickelson has loved this tournament and he tends to play well consistently at a few events each year, this being one of them. Mickelson is a four-time winner of this tournament and he finished second two of the last three years. While missing the cut last weekend, Mickelson did finished second in the Desert Classic a few weeks ago. I would expect Lefty to have another good showing this weekend as he is quite comfortable with Pebble Beach.
Brandt Snedeker 40/1
Snedeker doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence right now, as he has finished outside the top 10 in eight straight tournaments. That includes four tournaments this year. His best finish so far in 2019 is 16th. However, Pebble Beach has been a good course for him. Snedeker won this event twice, last doing so in 2015 with a course-record performance. He also finished fourth in 2017. Given his long odds, I think Snedeker has a lot of value. I think he can break out of his slump this week.
