Updated PGA Championship Odds
The first round of the PGA Championship is in the books and the pre-tournament favorite still remains the favorite entering the second round.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Dustin Johnson is now a 5/1 favorite to win this major while Rickie Fowler is listed with 11/2 odds and Jason Day has 10/1 odds. The PGA Championship continues Friday-Sunday from Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
Gary Woodland actually has the lead through the first round, as he posted a 6-under 64 on Thursday. Woodland now has 14/1 odds to win this major, which would be the first major championship of his career. He actually hasn’t finished in the top 10 of a major in his career.
Fowler sits in second place at -5 after he posted a 65 on Thursday. Fowler is also seeking his first major, but he has been close on many occasions. Brandon Stone and Zach Johnson are each at -4 after the first round. Johnson is listed with 28/1 odds right now while Stone has 66/1 odds.
Johnson and Day are both at -3 for the tournament after each shot a 67 on Thursday. Johnson is looking to win his second major championship and first PGA Championship. Day is a former PGA Championship winner, taking the title in 2015. He is also seeking his second major championship.
