According to oddsmakers from GTBets, Jason Day is the favorite to win this tournament, as he has 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy, who each have 7/1 odds. The Deutsche Bank Championship takes place on Friday-Monday from TPC Boston in Norton, MA.
Day is third in the world rankings and on a real tear as of late. He has won three of his last four events, including the PGA Championship and The Barclays. He has a total of four wins on the year to go with a total of 9 top-10 finishes.
Spieth is second in the world rankings but coming off a missed cut at The Barclays where he lost his No. 1 ranking. Spieth has four wins this year to go along with a total of 14 top-10 finishes.
McIlroy won this tournament in 2012. He is back to being No. 1 in the world rankings despite not playing since the PGA Championship. He has three wins and eight top 10s on the year.
