Fort Worth Invitational Odds
The PGA Tour remains in Texas this week for the Fort Worth Invitational. Here’s a look at the odds to win this tournament.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Jordan Spieth is favored this week, as he has 9/1 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Jon Rahm (14/1), Justin Rose (18/1) and Webb Simpson (18/1). The Forth Worth Invitational takes place Thursday-Sunday from Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
Spieth was the 2016 champion of this event while finishing runner up in 2015 and 2017. He has played the last two weeks on tour and has finished outside the top 20 in both events. Spieth has played in 12 tournaments in 2018 and is winless with four top-10 finishes.
Rahm was runner-up in this tournament last year as well. He comes into the weekend fourth in the world rankings. Rahm has played in 10 tournaments this year and has two victories with two other top-10 finishes.
Rose comes into this week fifth in the world rankings. He has competed in eight tournaments this year and has three top-10 finishes, but is seeking his first win. Rose has yet to miss a cut in 2018.
Simpson is having one of the best years of anyone on tour. He has climbed from 43rd to 20th in the world rankings this year following his win in The Players Championship two weeks ago. This year Simpson has five top-10 finishes out of 11 tournaments. He also has finished 30th or better in seven of his last eight events.
