John Deere Classic Odds
The 2018 John Deere Classic is the final event before The Open Championship next week. Here’s a look at the odds to win this tournament.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Francesco Molinari is the favorite, as he is listed with 10/1 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Bryson DeChambeau (11/1), Zach Johnson (12/1) and Ryan Moore (14/1). The John Deere Classic takes place Thursday-Sunday from TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
Molinari is 15th in the world rankings and having a tremendous month of play. He has won two of his last four tournaments and finished second in another. This is not an event he typically plays, but it is not very star-studded due to most of the top players being overseas next week.
DeChambeau is the defending champion of this tournament. He has moved up to 22nd in the world rankings after starting the year 99th. DeChambeau has one win this year with six top-10 finishes out of 16 tournaments.
Johnson won this tournament back in 2012 and he has finished second three other times. Johnson isn’t doing too well this year, as he currently sits 51st in the world rankings. Out of 14 tournaments, he has just one top-10 finish. However, he has also missed just one cut.
Moore was the 2016 champion of this event. He comes into this weekend 77th in the world rankings. It’s been an up-and-down year for Moore, as he has missed four cuts and made the top 10 three times out of 13 events.
