The 2016 Quicken Loans National gets underway on Thursday morning. Here are some of the golfers we like for this tournament.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Rickie Fowler is the favorite to win this tournament, as he has 14/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Patrick Reed (18/1) and Jim Furyk (20/1). The Quicken Loans National takes place on Thursday-Sunday from Congressional CC – Blue Course in Bethesda, Maryland.

Jim Furyk is coming off a runner-up finish at the U.S. Open. It seems to be the start of a nice return for Furyk, who has been battling injuries for some time. Look for him to contend this week in a light field. He has the kind of game that should help him be a top contender all weekend.
Charley Hoffman has 30/1 odds to win this week. Though he has not been in the mix at many tournaments, he has been good at making cuts. He also has one win on the PGA Tour this year, which should bode well this week. With not a lot of top names competing, Hoffman should be able to establish himself as a top contender.
Jason Kokrak has 50/1 odds this week. He is a tough golfer to wager on, but I think there are reasons to believe he can make a run. Kokrak is coming off a good showing at the U.S. Open, but he also has missed a lot of cuts. He still has a pair of top-10 finishes this year, including a runner-up finish. Look for him to build off last week’s showing to contend this week.
