Farmers Insurance Open Picks
LA JOLLA, CA (TheSpread) – The 2015 PGA Farmers Insurance Open starts play this morning in California. Here are some golfer to consider for this event.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Jimmy Walker and Jordan Spieth are the co-favorites to win this tournament, as each has 12/1 odds. Jason Day comes in with 14/1 odds. This event is held today-Sunday from Torrey Pines North & South Courses.
Jimmy Walker was the right play a few weeks back in his win in the Sony Open and we like him again this week. He did miss the cut last year, but his play this year has been too strong for a big letdown. He has a won and a runner-up thus far in 2015 and we think he adds to that this weekend.
Jason Day is also a strong play. He was the runner-up in this tournament a year ago and coming off a third-place finish in the Sony Open, his last event of the year. Look for Day to be near the top come Sunday’s final round.
Brandt Snedeker had a 2014 to forget, but he looks primed to rebound with a strong 2015. He was 10th in last week’s Phoenix Open and he comes to an event that he won in 2012 this week. Snedeker has 25/1 odds entering today and we like him to be a strong contender to win.
