RBC Heritage Predictions
Following an exciting major championship last week, the PGA Tour moves to South Carolina this weekend for the RBC Heritage. Here’s some golfers we like to compete for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Dustin Johnson is favored to win this event, as he is listed with 15/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Francesco Molinari (16/1), Bryson DeChambeau (18/1) and Xander Schauffele (18/1). The 2019 RBC Heritage takes place Thursday-Sunday from Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
600001 Dustin Johnson 15/2
Dustin Johnson continued his impressive 2019 season with a runner-up finish at Augusta last weekend. He has seven top-10 finishes this year out of 10 tournaments. That includes a pair of wins as well. Johnson landed 16th in this tournament last year, but I would expect him to continue to play like the No. 1 golfer in the world and be among the top contenders come Sunday.
600002 Francesco Molinari 16/1
After collapsing on Sunday in the Masters, this weekend can go one of two ways for Molinari. He can completely fall apart and let last Sunday get to him or he can bounce back in a big way and learn from the error. I think Molinari is the type of guy that will bounce back. He has finished in the top 5 in three of his last four tournaments and is coming off a great 2018 season. Molinari has proven he is one of the best in the world and a very steady player.
600010 Jim Furyk 33/1
Jim Furyk is a two-time winner of this tournament and is having a bit of a renaissance year for himself. This year, Furyk has two top-10 finishes out of 17 tournaments, but he has made every cut he has been in. He has placed in the top 25 in all but one of the seven tournaments as well. Furky started 2019 223rd in the world rankings, but is now 51st. Coming to a course that he has been very good at gives him even more value this weekend. I think Furyk is a great dark horse option.
