The TOUR Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rose is the new No. 1-ranked golfer in the world. He has just one playoff victory in his career, which came back in 2011. Rose has finished second in the last two playoff events and he has one win in 2018 with 10 top-10 finishes. Rose placed 10th in this tournament last year.
McIlroy is a former winner of this event, taking the title in 2016. He has won a total of four playoff events in his career. McIlroy currently sits fifth in the world rankings right now. He has one win this year with a total of nine top-10 finishes. He has placed in the top 12 of his last two tournaments.
Johnson hasn’t won this event, but he does have four playoff event victories in his career. DJ is now third in the world rankings and has finished outside the top 10 in three of his last four events. This year, Johnson has three wins and 11 top-10 finishes.
Thomas is the defending FedEx Cup champion and he has one playoff win in his career as well. He has two wins on the year with a total of nine top-10 finishes. Thomas has finished outside the top 10 in his last two tournaments. Thomas was runner-up in the 2017 TOUR Championship.
