According to the latest oddsmakers, Jordan Spieth is favored to win this event, as he has (13/2) odds. Other short odds to win are Dustin Johnson (15/2), Justin Thomas (10/1) and Rickie Fowler (14/1). The BMW Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Spieth is the current points leader in the FedEx Cup standings by 23 on Thomas. He is also second in the world rankings and has three wins on the year. He has won or placed second in four of his last six tournaments.
Johnson is a two-time winner of this tournament and the defending champion. He steps into this week third in the FedExCup standings, over 200 points behind Spieth. DJ has four wins this year. He won The Northern Trust a few weeks back and has finished in the top 20 in five straight events.
Thomas is fourth in the world rankings and second in the FedEx Cup standings. He has four win this year, including the Dell Technologies Championship a week ago. He also won the PGA Championship in August.
Fowler is 10th in the world rankings and sixth in the FedEx Cup standings. He sits over 900 points behind Spieth for first place. Fowler has one win this year with nine top-10 finishes.
