The Shell Houston Open is the next event lined up for the PGA Tour. Here is a look at the odds to win this week’s tournament.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jordan Spieth is favored to win, as he is getting odds of 6/1 to prevail. Other short odds to win are Jon Rahm (10/1), Henrik Stenson (12/1) and Rickie Fowler (14/1). The Shell Houston Open takes place Thursday, March 30-Sunday, April 2 from the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
Spieth is sixth in the world rankings. He has struggled by his standards lately, finishing outside the top 10 in three straight events. He finished 13th in this event a year ago.
Rahm is 14th in the world rankings thanks to a runner-up finish in the Match Play Tournament this weekend. He has now finished in the top 5 in four of his last five events, including one win.
Stenson has been a two-time runner-up of this event, including last year. He is currently fifth in the world rankings but coming off a missed cut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He has three top-10 finishes this year with no wins.
Fowler is ninth in the world rankings right now. He has finished 16th or better in four straight events, including one win in the Honda Classic. Fowler was 10th in this event a year ago.
