According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Rickie Fowler is favored to win this week, as he has 8/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Justin Thomas (10/1), Rory McIlroy (10/1) and Sergio Garcia (16/1). Tiger Woods is also playing this week and has 66/1 odds to win. The Honda Classic takes place Thursday-Sunday from PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Fowler is the defending champion of this tournament. He sits seventh in the world rankings right now. Fowler has competed in three tournaments this year, finishing 11th or better in two of the three events.
Thomas is fourth in the world rankings. He is coming off his 2017 season where he won five tournaments and earned the FedEx Cup. Thomas has competed in four tournaments this year and has one top-10 finish while placing 22nd or better in all four. He missed the cut in this tournament a year ago.
McIlroy won this tournament in 2012. He also finished second in 2014. McIlroy is 10th in the world rankings right now. He has placed in the top 5 in two of the four tournaments he has played in this year.
Garcia finished second in this tournament back in 2016 and he was 14th last year. He is 11th in the world rankings right now thanks to a win at the Singapore Open. Garcia had three wins in 2017, most he has had since 2008.
