According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Dustin Johnson is the favorite to win this weekend, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Rory McIlroy (6/1), Jason Day (8/1) and Jordan Spieth (8/1). The TOUR Championship features the top 30 remaining on the FedEx Cup points list and takes place Thursday-Sunday this week from East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia.
Johnson moved up to second in the world rankings following his win in the BMW Championship. He has three wins on the year and has finished in the top 10 in eight of his last 10 tournaments, including three wins.
McIlroy placed second in this tournament in 2014. He is currently third in the world rankings. He has two wins on the year to go with a total of 11 top-10 finishes.
Day is No. 1in the world rankings. He had to withdraw from the BMW Championship, but still comes into this week with three win in 2016. He has finished in the top 10 in 10 tournaments this year.
Spieth is the defending champion of this tournament and he finished second in 2013. He is currently fourth in the world rankings. He has two wins this year, but has finished outside the top 10 in five of his last eight events.
