Spieth was the 2015 winner of this tournament. He is having somewhat of a quiet 2018 so far as he is winless through six events with two top-10 finishes. He has yet to crack the top-5 this year, but has still managed to place in the top 20 in five of his six tournaments.

McIlroy is now back at 12th in the world rankings. He has placed 20th or worse in his last three events, including a 59th-place finish at the Honda Classic. McIlroy hasn’t won a tournament since 2016.

Garcia is 11th in the world rankings. After winning the Singapore open, he has finished outside the top 30 in two of his last three tournaments. Over four tournaments, he has two top-10 finishes.

Rose is fifth in the world rankings but has played in just three tournaments this year. He has placed outside the top 20 in two of the three and has an eighth-placed finish sandwiched in between.

Woods is now 388th in the world rankings. He played a few weeks ago in the Honda Classic, finishing 12th. It was his best finish in a full-PGA Tournament since 2015. Woods has played in three events this year, making the cut in two of the three.
