Pebble Beach Pro-Am Picks
The 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will get underway on Thursday morning. Here are our picks for this weekend’s golf tournament.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth are co-favorites with 8/1 odds. Other short odds are Jason Day (12/1) and Justin Rose (14/1). The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am takes place on Thursday-Sunday from Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill.
Bet on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
Jordan Spieth is playing really well right now, finishing in the top 10 in his last five tournaments, including one victory. Spieth placed 21st here last year, but I think he makes a push for the victory this weekend as he seems to be playing well with The Masters slowly approaching.
Justin Rose has been playing well lately as well. He has finished in the top 5 of his tournaments in 2017, which includes a runner-up finish at the Sony Open. Rose also has played strong in this event, finishing sixth a year ago. Look for him to build off that and make a run at winning this weekend.
Tony Finau is a bit of a dark horse at 50/1 to win this weekend. He is coming off missing the cut at the Phoenix Open, but he has responded well when missing the cut. Following his last missed cut, he finished ninth in his next tournament. He also hasn’t missed back-to-back cuts since early in 2016. Prior to last week, he had finished in the top 20 in three straight, including two top-10 finishes. Finau has a lot of value at 50/1.
