CareerBuilder Challenge Picks

The 2017 CareerBuilder Challenge is set to get started on Thursday in Hawaii. Here are some golfers we like to contend for the win.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Patrick Reed is the favorite this week with 16/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Bill Haas (18/1), Francesco Molinari (20/1), Phil Mickelson (20/1) and Zach Johnson (20/1). This tournament takes place from Jan. 19-22 at three different courses in La Quinta, California.

Bet on the CareerBuilder Challenge

Patrick Reed headlines this year’s field, which isn’t terribly strong. Given he has made the cut in 17 straight events, I like his chances this weekend. He finished sixth in his other tournament and 2017 and should be primed for a win to build off his strong end to 2016.

Emaliano Grillo has 25/1 odds for the weekend and he comes into this tournament very strong. He finished 2016 by making the cut in 19 straight events. He also has placed in the top 20 in five straight tournaments. He is knocking on the door for another win and could get it this week.

Brendan Steele has 28/1 odds to win this week, but I think that has some good value. He picked up a win late in the 2016 season and he finished sixth at the Tournament of Champions a few weeks ago. He also has made the cut in eight straight tournaments, so he should be in the mix this weekend.
