RBC Heritage Predictions
The 2017 RBC Heritage tees off tomorrow. Here are some of the golfers we think can contend for the victory.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Matt Kuchar is favored to win, as he has 14/1 odds. Other short odds this week are Brandt Snedeker (20/1) and Kevin Kisner (20/1). The RBC Heritage takes place on Thursday-Sunday from Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Matt Kuchar is the favorite in a pretty poor field. He is the former champion of this tournament and he is coming off his best showing of the year, placing tied for fourth at The Masters. Kuchar is pretty consistent at making cuts, as he has missed just seven over his last 65 events. With him in the mix, he is certainly capable of grinding out a win.
Jason Dufner has 28/1 odds this week, but there is some reason to like him. Dufner has made the cut in seven straight tournaments, finishing in the top 25 in five of them. Dufner had some good moments last week in August and could be primed for a breakout this week in a weaker field.
Luke Donald isn’t a name you hear much of anymore, but he has a pretty good history at this event, placing second on four different occasions. He was tied for second last year as well. Donald hasn’t been one to compete much, but has finished in the top 27 in three of his last five tournament. If he makes the cut, this course clearly works out to his liking. He can lead to a big payday.
