CareerBuilder Challenge Picks
The 2018 CareerBuilder Challenge will tee off Thursday morning. Here are some golfers we like to contender for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Jon Rahm is favored to win this tournament, as he has (8/1) odds. Other short odds to prevail are Brian Harman (14/1), Webb Simpson (18/1) and Patrick Reed (20/1). The CareerBuilder Challenge takes place from TPC Stadium Course at PGA West in La Quinta, California.
Bet on the CareerBuilder Challenge
Jon Rahm is a good choice this weekend as the favorite. He is up to third in the world rankings entering this week. Rahm is coming off a 2017 season where he racked up three wins and 14 top-10 finishes. He placed second in the Tournament of Championship a few weeks ago and has placed in the top 10 in six of his last nine events. Rahm has been very consistent and should be in the top 10 again on Sunday.
Brian Harman is on a nice hot streak right now as well and seems to be knocking on the door for a victory. Harman is 20th in the world rankings right now after finishing in the top 10 in five straight events. Now he comes to a tournament where he finished third a year ago. Harman’s current play combined with being at a course he likes makes us believe he should be right in the mix.
Patrick Reed is a former winner of this tournament and he has picked up at least one win in four of the last five years. Reed went winless in 2017, but he ended the year finishing in the top 10 in his last two events. In a field that is lacking a lot of star power, I think Reed should be able to dial in and be a contender, especially considering his past history at the course.
