Wyndham Championship Picks
The Wyndham Championship is set to tee off on Thursday morning. Here are some of the golfers we think will contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Henrik Stenson is favored to win this tournament, as he has 12/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kevin Kisner (14/1), Bill Haas (22/1) and Webb Simpson (22/1). The Wyndham Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Bet on the Wyndham Championship
Henrik Stenson is the top player in this field by a wide margin. He is the only golfer in this field ranked in the top 10 in the world rankings. He also has been playing consistently as of late. Stenson has finished in the top 20 in four of his last five events. With this field being so light, I think Stenson is the man to beat this weekend. He should be able to snag his first win of the year.
Ryan Moore is listed with 24/1 odds to win this tournament. He is the 2009 champion of this event and is coming off a 13th-place finish at the PGA Championship. Moore was in a rough stretch where he missed three straight cuts, but he has played well in his last two tournaments, both of which were top-level fields. With this field being light, Moore should be able to be right in the mix for the win.
Keegan Bradley is listed with 40/1 odds to win this weekend. Normally Bradley isn’t someone I would suggest since he hasn’t won since 2012, but I think there is good value for him this week. Bradley has made the cut in six straight tournaments, which includes a pair of top-10 finishes. He also was 33rd at the PGA Championship, as he showed some stretches of good play. If Bradley can continue this positive trend, he should be able to make a run at winning this tournament.
