Wyndham Championship Odds
The final event before the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs is the Wyndham Championship. Here’s a look at the odds to win this year’s event.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Webb Simpson is the favorite this week, as he is getting odds of 12/1 to win. Other short odds to prevail are Hideki Matsuyama (14/1) and Henrik Stenson (18/1). The Wyndham Championship takes place Thursday-Sunday from Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Simpson won this tournament in 2011. He comes into this weekend 20th in the world rankings and coming off a 19th-place finish in the PGA Championship. Simpson has one win this year with six top-10 finishes.
Matsuyama is 16th world rankings right now but has finished outside the top 30 in his last four tournaments. This year, he has played in 15 events and has only 1 top-10 finish with three missed cuts. Matsuyama did finish third in this event in 2016.
Stenson is the defending champion of this tournament, but he is having somewhat of a quiet 2018 season. Stenson is winless on the year, but does have six top-10 finishes. He has missed a pair of cuts and has finished outside the top 30 in his last three events.
