The Zurich Classic features 80 teams of two players. They duos play alternate shot on Thursday and Saturday and play better ball on Friday and Sunday. According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, the team of Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson is favored, as they have 13/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Patrick Cantlay/Patrick Reed (12/1) while three other teams have 14/1 odds. The Zurich Classic of New Orleans takes place April 26-29 from TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana.
Justin Rose is actually a former champion of this event back when it was still a solo tournament. He is currently fifth in the world rankings and has three top-10 finishes this year out of seven tournaments played.
Stenson is 15th in the world rankings right now. He has finished sixth or better in his last three events and has five top-10 finishes out of seven events.
Patrick Reed is competing for the first time since winning The Masters. He has climbed up to 11th in the world rankings thanks to the win. Reed has finished in the top 10 of his last four tournaments.
Patrick Cantlay is 34th in the world rankings after finishing seventh in the RBC Heritage two weeks ago. Out of eight tournaments this year, he has finished in the top 10 twice.
