Presidents Cup Odds
The Presidents Cup is set to take place this week. Here is a look at the odds to win this weekend’s team golf event.
According to the latest oddsmakers, the United State is favored to win this event, as the Americans are getting odds of -300 to win. The International Team is listed with a +300 money line, while the odds for a tie are set at +1200.
The Presidents Cup features teams of 12 players from the United States and from the International Team, which consists of players from all non-European or American countries. The event lasts four days with five matches of foursomes on Thursday, five matches of fourball on Friday, four matches of foursomes and fourball on Saturday, and then 12 singles matches on Sunday. Winning teams or individuals get a point while ties give each side a ½ a point. The team with more points at the end wins. The event will be held at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey. The United States is 9-1-1 all-time in this event.
Team USA consists of Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Daniel Berger, Brooks Koepka, Kevin Kisner, Patrick Reed, Matt Kuchar, Kevin Chappell, Charley Hoffman and Phil Mickelson. The team is being captained by Steve Stricker.
The International Team consists of Hideki Matsuyama, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen, Marc Leishman, Charl Schwartzel, Branden Grace, Kim Si-Woo, Jhonattan Vegas, Adam Hadwin, Emiliano Grillo and Anirban Lahri. Nick Price will be the captain.
