WGC-Cadillac Championship Odds
DORAL, FL (TheSpread) – The top golfers in the world meet this week in Doral for the WGC-Cadillac Championship. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Rory McIlroy is favored to win this tournament, as he has odds of 11/2 odds. The other short odds to win are Bubba Watson (14/1) and Jason Day (16/1). This event will be held March 5-8 from TPC Blue Monster at Doral in Doral, Florida.
McIlroy is the world’s No. 1 golfer, but he is coming off his worst outing in a long time, as he missed the cut at last week’s Honda Classic. Prior to that, McIlroy had won or placed second in five of his last six events. McIlroy was 25th at this event last year.
Watson is currently second in the world rankings. He has finished in the top 15 of all three tournaments he has played in this year. He finished second in this event last year.
Jason Day is fourth in the world rankings. He has had a great start to 2015, placing in the top 5 in three of the four events he has played in, including one victory. He didn’t play in this event last year, but was 33rd in 2010.
