PGA Phoenix Open Picks
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – The 2015 PGA Waste Management Phoenix Open starts play this morning in Arizona. Here are some golfer to consider for this event.
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Bubba Watson and Jordan Spieth are co-favorites to win, as each has 12/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Tiger Woods, Matt Kuchar and Rickie Fowler, who each have 20/1 odds.
Jordan Spieth is a strong play this weekend. He is a top-10 golfer in the world rankings and won the last two events he played in for 2014. Look for him to start his 2015 campaign very well this weekend.
Rickie Fowler is another golfer we like this weekend. Though his first outing of the year was rough, he was one of the best in all of 2014. He ended his year with five-straight top 10s and nine top 10s in his last 10 tournaments.
Phil Mickelson is a hard golfer to figure out, but he is a three-time winner of this tournament and worth a look at 22/1. This course clearly fits Mickelson’s game well and he could give you a big payout if he plays well here again.
