Bowditch wins Byron Nelson
IRVING, TX (The Spread) – Steven Bowditch became the seventh player to lead all four rounds of the AT&T Byron Nelson to win the event by four shots this weekend.
Bowditch finished at 18-under 259 to win this year’s AT&T Byron Nelson wire-to-wire. Both of his career titles have now come in Texas as he had 27 birdies in the tournament.
Charley Hoffman finished 14-under 263 to finish tied for second with Jimmy Walker and Scott Pinckney. Zach Johnson, meanwhile, finished fifth at 13-under 264 and shot a 63 in Round 4 on Sunday.
Bowditch currently ranks 16th in the FedEx Cup while shooting an average of 71.344 in 2015. The PGA Tour will now head to Muirfield Village Golf Course in Dublin, Ohio for the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. That even will take place June 4 through June 7.
