2019 Masters Odds
The first major of the 2019 golf season takes place this week, as everyone contends for The Masters Championship. Here’s a look at the odds to win the green jacket.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Rory McIlroy comes into the week as the favorite. He is listed with 7/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Dustin Johnson (10/1), Justin Rose (14/1) and Tiger Woods (14/1). The 2019 Masters takes place Thursday-Sunday from Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia.
Bet on the Masters Championship
McIlroy is third in the world rankings entering the week. He Has played in seven tournaments this year and has finished in the top 10 in all of them, including one win. McIlroy has four majors in his career, but is just missing the Masters from his career grand slam. He has placed in the event 10 times, finishing in the top 10 the last five years. That includes a fifth-place finish last year.
Johnson is second in the world rankings. He has played in nine events this year and has two wins with six top-10 finishes. DJ has one major title to his resume, which was the 2016 U.S. Open. He has competed in The Masters eight times and placed in the top 10 three times. He has finished 10th or better the last three times he has played in this event, including a fourth-place finish in 2016.
Rose is currently No. 1 in the world rankings. He has one win and three-top 10 finish in six events this year. Rose has one major championship to his credit, the 2013 U.S. Open. He has played at Augusta 13 times in his career and has five top-10 finishes. He was runner-up in 2017 and finished tied for 12th last year.
Woods is 12th in the world rankings currently. He has competed in five tournaments this year and has placed in the top 10 in two of them. Tiger is a 14-time major champion and four-time Masters champ. His last Masters victory was 2005 and his last major was 2008. Woods cracked the top 10 of the last two majors in 2018, which was the first time since 2013.
