Dustin Johnson leads at U.S. Open
Dustin Johnson finds himself halfway to his first major as he is one of the leaders following Friday’s play in the U.S. Open Championship.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Johnson is now a +225 to win this year’s U.S. Open. Other short odds to win are Sergio Garcia (+900), Jordan Spieth (+1100), Bubba Watson (+1200) and Lee Westwood (+1200). The U.S. Open continues Saturday and Sunday from Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
Johnson sits at -4 for the tournament after completing his second round. He posted a 67 in his first round and a 69 in his second round. Only about half the field has completed their second round. He is tied for the lead with Andrew Landry, who hasn’t played a single hole in round two.
Garcia is at -2 for the tournament after two full rounds. He posted a 68 in the opening round and a 70 in the second round.
Spieth is at +2 for the tournament after shooting a 72 in his first round. He has yet to tee off for his second round and sits tied for 29th right now.
Watson is at -1 for the tournament and also hasn’t started his second round. He posted a 69 for his first round and is tied for seventh right now.
Westwood hasn’t started his second round, but he is at -3 after shooting a 67 in his first round. He is one shot back of the leaders.
