Updated U.S. Open Odds
UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA (TheSpread) – The U.S. Open Championship is entering its third round of play later today. Here is the latest look at the odds to win.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Jordan Spieth is now a 2/1 favorite to walk away with the major. Dustin Johnson currently has 4/1 odds while Patrick Reed has 5/1 odds. The U.S. Open continues today and runs through Sunday from Chambers Bay in Washington.
Spieth is tied for the lead with Reed at -5 overall. Spieth posted a 3-under 67 on Friday which was one shot off the low round of the day. Spieth is looking to claim the first two majors of the year.
Reed is also at -5 for the tournament after he posted a 1-under 69 on Friday. He bogeyed the final hole or else he would be in the lead on his own. Reed is seeking his first major championship.
Johnson is at -4 for the tournament, one shot back of the leaders. He shot a 1-over 71 on Friday. Johnson was at -7 for the tournament at one point, but had bogeys on three of his final five holes of the round. He is also looking to win his first major.
