Farmers Insurance Open Odds
LA JOLLA, CA (TheSpread) – The PGA Tour heads to Torrey Pines this week for the Farmers Insurance Open. Get a look at the odds for this tournament.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Jimmy Walker and Jordan Spieth are the co-favorites to win this week, as each has 12/1 odds to prevail. The other short odds is Jason Day, who has 14/1 odd. This event will be held Feb. 5-8 from Torrey Pines North & South Courses.
Spieth finished seventh last week in the Phoenix Open and he has placed in the top 10 in his last four tournaments, including two victories. He finished 19th in this tournament last year. He currently sits ninth in the world rankings.
Jimmy Walker is 13th in the world rankings and he is coming off a win in the Sony Open a few weeks ago. In two tournaments this year, he has a win and a runner-up finish. He missed the cut in this event last year.
Day is eighth in the world rankings. He finished 17th in the Sony Open and third in the tournament of champions, his lone events of 2015. He finished in second place in this event a year ago.
Tiger Woods will be competing this week as well. He is a seven-time winner of this tournament, last winning in 2013. He comes in with 28/1 odds to win this week, but was a disaster last week in the Phoenix Open, his first tournament of 2015. He has missed the cut or finished last in three straight events and is now 56th in the world rankings.
