WGC-Cadillac Championship Free Picks
The WGC-Cadillac Championship will begin play on Thursday morning and we have some suggested picks for the tournament.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Rory McIlroy is the favorite to win this week, as he has 9/1 odds. Other golfers with short odds are Jordan Spieth (11/1) and Dustin Johnson (11/1). The WGC-Cadillac Championship takes place from TPC Blue Monster at Doral on Thursday-Sunday.
Dustin Johnson has done very well at this tournament. He is the defending champion and also finished second back in 2011. He is coming off a strong showing in the Northern Trust Open and should be in the mix this weekend with 11/1 odds.
Jason Day has 12/1 odds this week and he has a 10th-place and 11th-place finish this year to go with his five wins in 2015. He has finished in the top 15 in 11 of his last 12 tournaments. Day has been somewhat overlooked early in the year, so look for him to make a splash at a big tournament this weekend.
Justin Rose has 22/1 odds to win this weekend and also is a former champion, taking the title in 2012. Rose has won at least two events the last two years and he finished sixth at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, so he is on par to have another solid showing this week. Rose has placed 16th or better in eight of his last 10 events, which includes one win.
