Will Louisville cover versus Miami?
ORLANDO, FL (The Spread) – Is Louisville a value play versus Miami in the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl?
This Bowl showcases the 9-3 Hurricanes Vs the 11-1 Cardinals. This game has blow out written all over it, and should be an easy win for bettors that back the Cardinals in this one.
The Cardinals are just the better team overall. First off, the Cardinals have a major edge at the QB spot with Bridgewater expected to be one of the top picks in the NFL draft if not the top pick going up against a Miami secondary giving up over 230 yards per game in the air.
The edge doesn’t stop on the offensive side of the ball either, as Louisville has just allowed slightly over 250 total yards per game. The Hurricanes finished the season on a 1-6 ATS slide.
This Bowl is being played in Orlando, which there will be plenty of Miami fans in the crowd I’m sure, but Bridgewater played his high school ball just a few hours from Orlando. Bridgewater should be up for this one as he will want to close out his college career with a win in front of his home state, plus no invite to the Heisman ceremony should put a little fire in his belly.
