Will Broncos cover vs. Colts?
DENVER, CO (Spread Winners) – The Broncos have had issues covering the spread in the playoffs but will today be different when they host the Colts at 4:40PM ET?
The Broncos are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five playoff games and are 2-6-1 against the number in their last nine games in January. But we expect Denver to buck those trends today and roll against an Indianapolis team that also has had trouble covering in playoff games.
The Colts are 2-5 at the betting window in their last seven playoff games and are 1-4-1 against the number in their last six games versus a team with a winning record. Despite winning and covering easily last week versus the Bengals, the Colts benefited from A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham being out with injuries. Once Cincinnati fell behind, Andy Dalton wasn’t going to bring the Bengals from behind.
