Sharks vs. Kings Handicap Pick
The Los Angeles Kings will open the 2015 season at home when they host the San Jose Sharks tonight at 10:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Kings are -160 money line favorites versus the Sharks, who are +140 to pull off the upset. As for the over/under, the number currently sits at only 5 goals.
The Kings lost Justin Williams, Mike Richards and Jarrett Stoll from their first two championship teams but as long as Jonathan Quick remains in net, Los Angeles will compete. The Kings racked up some offense in the preseason and went 25-9-4-3 at home last season, which was the fourth-best home record in the NHL. There’s not much value in taking the Kings at -160, but they’re +190 on the puck line and should double up the Sharks tonight.
