Arkansas vs. Auburn Prediction

The Auburn Tigers are now heavy favorites versus Arkansas tonight at 6:00PM ET. Will they cover?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Tigers are 10.5-point home favorites versus the Razorbacks while the over/under currently sits at 54.5 points. Both the side and the total have moved off the original numbers, with Auburn going from -7.5 to -10.5 and the total dropping from 55.5 down to 54.5.

The Razorbacks are a near-perfect 6-1 against the spread in their last seven road games and are 7-3 against the number in their last 10 conference matchups. They’re also an impressive 10-2 at the betting window in their last 12 road games versus an opponent that owns a winning home record and are 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games when playing a team with a winning record.

The Tigers have been impressive at the betting window as well, covering in six of their last seven games overall and going 4-1 against the number in their last five home games. OUR PREDICTION: The Tigers are 5-0 in games coming after a bye week under Gus Malzhan, with three of those wins coming against AP-ranked opponents according to ESPN.com. Auburn is also holding opponents to just 16.0 points per game, which ranks 10th in the nation, and is 30th in total yards allowed at 346.8. Quarterback Austin Allen has thrown at least two touchdown passes in all seven games this season and will keep the Razorbacks in the game initially. But with the Hogs allowing 175.9 yards per game on the ground this year, we don’t trust Arkansas’ defense to keep things close in the second half.
