Clemson +10 a safe play vs. Virginia?
Clemson has been one of the best bets in college basketball of late and is catching 10 points on the road versus Virginia tonight at 8:00PM ET.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cavaliers are 10-point home favorites versus the Tigers, who are 12-6 on the year and 9-5 against the spread. Virginia will enter play tonight with a 13-4 record but is just 7-8 at the betting window.
Clemson has won five straight games both straight up and against the spread, with outright victories versus Miami (+4.5), Duke (+7.5), Louisville (6.5), Syracuse (+4.5) and Florida State (+2) as an underdog. The Cavaliers are praised for their defense, which ranks second in the ACC in scoring (61.2), but the Tigers are third (62.4) and are led by a center Landry Nnoko who averages 2.33 blocks per game (second in the league).
Virginia flat out isn’t playing well. The Cavaliers have lost three of their last four games and have covered the spread just twice in their last seven contests. We’ve seen recently how Clemson plays up to its competition and while it might not pull off another straight up upset, it should be able to stay within 10 points.
