Small School Pick: Fordham over BC
Before capping one of the top 25 matchups tonight in college hoops, bettors might want to take a look at the Fordham-Boston College matchup this afternoon.

Oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu currently list Fordham as a 5-point favorite over Boston College today at 3:30PM ET. The line has already been bet up from 3.5 to 5, with the Rams entering play with a 9-1 record against the Eagles’ mark of 5-6.
Why bet Fordham:
For starters, the Rams have a better RPI at 107, compared to the Eagles at 260. Boston College has the worst RPI among ACC teams this season and have failed to cover the spread in five of its seven lined games on the year. The Rams, meanwhile, are just 2-1 against the spread in lined games, but enter play with a 9-1 record.
Fordham is balanced, with an offensive quotient of 9.6 compared to a defensive quotient of 9.8. Compare those numbers to that of Boston College, which has a DEFQ of 9.7, but the Eagles’ OFFQ is a negative at -0.6. Even if the Eagles can hang for a half defensively, at some point the Rams’ offense will take over and they should be able to pull away.
